| Thank you, Alan, for leading me to this website. I used to live in Bristol as a small child but moved away when I was about 8 and I haven't been back since. I now live in NZ and although I didn't know Baldock Wood, this has been a very nostalgic 'trip' home. I used to live in Eldred Close, off Druid Stoke Avenue.

| I was delighted to find your Badock Woods website and want to support you in further work. It brought back many happy memories of early childhood as I grew up the Southmead and part of my childhood was spent time exploring these woods. As you can see, I now live in the United States, but return regularly to Bristol area as I have family there. Also I was astonished to learn of the Bronze age mound in the vicinity. This is significant local find.
